XAUDUM

Discover a remote and silent beauty

Situated on a prehistoric sand dune, Xaudum is the only lodge inside the northern section of Khaudum National Park. With its large elephant population, antelope herds and sightings of the iconic African wild dog, this park is one of Southern Africa’s last true wildernesses.

In the far northeast of Namibia lies Khaudum National Park‚ raw, untrammelled, and little-visited. Xaudum Lodge, which operates as a joint venture with the local conservancy, sits on a sand dune overlooking a fossil riverbed. Roan antelope are a Khaudum strength; painted wolves (African wild dog) range here, while herds of elephant wander through teak woodlands.
