In dramatic Damaraland, Sorris Sorris is a low-impact lodge with just six suites on the banks of the Ugab River, with mesmerising views of the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain. Myriad ways to witness the grandeur of Damaraland
The lodge is sited among granite boulders on the north bank of the Ugab River, with vehicle-based tracking of desert-adapted elephants along its course. Afternoons focus on movement: marked trails for electric fat-biking, trail running, and hiking — guests can self-navigate or request a guide. Short, guided geology walks and escorted photographic excursions are also available. Service is discreet and tailored to bespoke itineraries and private buyouts.
