SORRIS SORRIS

Intimacy and extraordinary Damaraland vistas
In dramatic Damaraland, Sorris Sorris is a low-impact lodge with just six suites on the banks of the Ugab River, with mesmerising views of the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain. This stunning landscape is crossed by desert-adapted lions and elephants, giraffes and red hartebeest as they migrate.
The Brandberg Massif forms the lodge’s epic backdrop; a vast granite pluton rising above the plains. Operated in partnership with the local conservancy, Sorris Sorris is a six-key property made for privacy and bespoke experiences.

Myriad ways to witness the grandeur of Damaraland
The lodge is sited among granite boulders on the north bank of the Ugab River, with vehicle-based tracking of desert-adapted elephants along its course. Afternoons focus on movement: marked trails for electric fat-biking, trail running, and hiking — guests can self-navigate or request a guide. Short, guided geology walks and escorted photographic excursions are also available. Service is discreet and tailored to bespoke itineraries and private buyouts.
