SHEYA SHUUSHONA
On the border of the Etosha National Park, one of the world’s great wildlife viewing venues and home to the Owambo tribe, guests have exclusive access to 60,000 hectares of private concession. Myriad waterholes and the Etosha salt pan – so large it can be seen from space – mean abundant wildlife.
Located on the northwestern frontier of Etosha National Park, Sheya Shuushona sits on a ridge overlooking the Ngandjela Salt Pan. This small footprint lodge with just six keys is a joint venture with the local conservancy and has exceptional private access to a huge concession area inside the park.

Private access to a previously unshared side to Etosha
Northern regions of Etosha are home to black-faced impala, gemsbok, elephant and the critically endangered black rhino. Here the focus is time in the park and on the Pan, with Pan walks at first light or dusk; and game drives to a secluded hide deep within the concession.
