As summer melts into autumn on Menorca, we invite you to join us in celebrating our third season with a Two Night Gastronomic Getaway from October 31 to November 2, 2025. Raise your glass to two days of treats, feasts, and discovery. One of the many highlights will be a curated wine tasting led by our Sommelier, Dani Martínez López, guardian of Son Vell’s wine cellar.
A toast to good taste
On your second evening, you’ll lift your glass not only in enjoyment but in discovery. “The evening is about pleasure first but also exploration,” Dani explains. “You’ll savour the wines while learning more about viticulture and the local wineries that pour their heart into every bottle, all in the beautiful surroundings here at Vestige Son Vell.”
If the skies are kind, you’ll gather in the gardens, fragrant with Mediterranean plants. Should the weather turn, the manor house — a two-hundred-year-old jewel of Menorcan heritage — will provide an atmospheric backdrop.
The story behind the makers
During the evening, you’ll meet some of Menorca’s most inspiring vintners. “We’ll welcome a member of the Salord family, third-generation winemakers from the renowned Bodegas Binitord, just three kilometres from Vestige Son Vell. Their organic wines are vibrant, approachable, and deeply rooted in the Menorcan landscape,” Dani shares.
“We’ll also be joined by a representative of the Ulisses Group, founded by award-winning mixologist Joan Canals. Initially self-taught, he has grown the venture into a celebrated bar, bottle shop and restaurant.” As respected wine distributors, Joan and his team bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the Menorcan scene.
Four wines, four journeys
Your tasting will guide you through four carefully chosen wines: two from Menorca’s vineyards, followed by a cava from Catalonia, and culminating with a rare, small-production Champagne. While the focus will be firmly on the wines, we’ll also serve light accompaniments to complete your experience.

Our cellar holds more than 150 wines, carefully selected and evolving under Dani’s watch. But for him, what you’ll take away from the evening goes far beyond the glass. “What you’ll love most is tasting exceptional wines in an idyllic setting, where the beauty of Menorca, its flavours and its stories come together in one unforgettable evening.”
