A HILLTOP HAVEN IN MALLORCA
Hidden in Mallorca’s Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vestige Son Veri benefits from sweeping views over lush valleys that run down to the glittering Bay of Palma. Set in splendid seclusion, the villa feels a million miles from anywhere, yet vibrant Palma lies just a 20-minute drive away.
Shaped over more than seven centuries, the Son Veri estate unfolds like a living chronicle of Mallorca’s noble past. First recorded in 1284 as the medieval Gabelli farmhouse, the land passed through influential families, one of whose names it would later bear: Son Veri.
With six suites accommodating up to 12 guests and an abundance of indoor and outdoor living spaces, relaxation comes effortlessly. Days will be spent drifting from pool to tennis to a stroll around the estate paths, while sunset evenings melt into starlit nights.
Meticulously restored, Son Veri is an indulgent retreat for larger families and groups of friends to connect, celebrate and take a peaceful pause together.
A luxury estate set in unspoilt countryside
Elegantly shuttered and standing proud, this 19th-century stone house sits within an exclusive estate made up of 100 hectares of unspoilt land. Once a working farm cultivating olives and cereals, the estate is dotted with mature holm oaks that lend structure and shade to the surroundings.
The house flows naturally into the outdoors. Its gardens blend ancient trees with Mediterranean planting, weaving colour, texture and fragrance in harmony with the rhythm of island life.
Shaded outdoor terraces invite leisurely meals with clear views of Palma on the horizon, while quiet al fresco mornings and evenings under the stars promise to shape memories that last a lifetime.
Design-led interiors
Designed to be effortless, the house embodies the essence of slow living — a place where time feels unhurried and tranquillity takes hold. Balancing shared moments with private retreat, there is ample space for your group to gather and socialise, as well as quiet corners for relaxing and recharging in solitude.
Generous shared spaces include a graceful dining room, home cinema, gym and wine cellar, while the living room with a games table showcases the original tafona (olive press) as a striking focal point.
The state-of-the-art kitchen sits at the heart of the home, perfect for shared cooking or hosting a private chef.
Each room is brought to life through considered design, custom-made artworks and handcrafted pieces. A striking lamp-sculpture made from rust-treated magnolia leaves hangs above the dining table, accompanied by ceramic pieces inspired by tree trunks, pine cones and wildflowers. Unique vases, murals and antique objets echo the island’s natural and cultural heritage, blending artistry and tradition.
