THE ESTATE

A grand rural estate and an intimate private villa, just for you

Indoor-outdoor living

With over 200 hectares of natural beauty as your outdoor playground, the 18th-century villa Santa Ana sits nestled in a peaceful clearing, surrounded by mighty trees, big skies and stunning scenery. The distinction between indoors and outdoors is blurred, creating a serene escape in nature with every creature comfort at your fingertips. True to form, we’ve preserved original materials and features — from stone arches to wooden beams — and selected natural materials that enhance the villa’s harmony, like hardy bamboo for the terrace. Days unfold in a leisurely rhythm, drifting from sun loungers to the pool, followed by an afternoon exploring the island, and ending with a private chef’s feast under the stars.

Giving more than we take

We approached the gardens and land with the same respect, nurturing what grows naturally and always giving more than we take. To date, we’ve planted over 60 trees that will mature over time, supporting biodiversity, enriching the soil, and enhancing the natural landscape. Beyond the immediate garden, the estate remains naturally wild to foster the growth of native flora and fauna.

Santa Ana
A fine balance

Santa Ana is about finding balance: fine-tuning the relationship between past and present, nature and structure, to create a harmonious environment that enhances your personal sense of equilibrium and wellbeing. Step inside to spaces that mirror and magnify the estate’s natural wilderness. Every material is natural, from the limestone walls to the soft furnishings crafted from jute, raffia, and linen. Copper fixtures gracefully develop a unique patina over time while original beams span the ceilings and stone and herringbone brickwork lie underfoot. While neutral tones create a calming ambiance, the atmosphere is enriched by a curated blend of antique and custom-made furniture, subtle colour accents, warm lighting, modern art and the company of good friends.
