Dating back to 1769, Santa Ana started life as an agricultural estate owned by nobleman Bernat Josep Olives and was tenanted by a local farming family for many years. Fast forward 200-odd-years and the property had fallen into disrepair. After a painstaking two and a half year landscaping and restoration project, the property has been beautifully reimagined as an understated yet sumptuous escape for year-round holidays. Now Casa del Payes, the original farmhouse, and the boyeras, traditional agricultural barns, wrap you in an atmosphere that seamlessly blends indoor-outdoor living, designed with families or groups in mind where privacy and seclusion are paramount.

Fanning across the original farmhouse and traditional outbuildings, you’ll find six spacious bedrooms, named for six of the most beautiful golden beaches framing the island. Each room’s thoughtful design creates a harmonious atmosphere by beautifully balancing the past with the present. Macarella and ​​Macarelleta, the master suites, are located in the main farmhouse and a stand-alone granary while the remaining four bedrooms lie shoulder to shoulder in the old barn. Thanks to the décor’s finely-tuned balance, our use of natural materials, a muted colour scheme, and an effortless match between antique furniture and bespoke contemporary pieces, you can revel in a sense of calm and wellbeing that nurtures you physically and emotionally.

Here, you get the best of all worlds: an exquisite rural estate all to yourself, and a short downhill walk to a stunning horseshoe-shaped bay that buzzes with life in summer.
