Suite \u00e0 notre r\u00e9cente collaboration, nous avons retrouv\u00e9 Ana Pa\u00fal dans son atelier madril\u00e8ne pour en apprendre davantage sur sa s\u00e9rie Layered Forest<\/em>, dont les \u0153uvres ornent d\u00e9sormais les murs de Vestige Son Vell et Vestige Santa Ana. Comme Ana nous l\u2019explique, son travail trouve le plus souvent son inspiration dans la nature : \u00ab La beaut\u00e9 majestueuse et le myst\u00e8re primitif des for\u00eats et des arbres m’ont toujours fascin\u00e9e. Dans un monde en perp\u00e9tuel changement, o\u00f9 de nouveaux d\u00e9fis se pr\u00e9sentent \u00e0 nous quotidiennement \u00e0 un rythme effr\u00e9n\u00e9, le concours des arbres nous offre un sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, enracin\u00e9 et durable. \u00bb<\/p>\n

The Layered Forest <\/em><\/strong>et Vestige Collection<\/strong><\/h2>\n

En plus d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir une s\u00e9lection de pi\u00e8ces issues de sa propre collection, nous lui avons pass\u00e9 commande d\u2019\u0153uvres sp\u00e9cifiquement adapt\u00e9es aux lieux destin\u00e9s \u00e0 les accueillir. C\u2019est \u00e0 travers le prisme de la couleur qu\u2019Ana a appr\u00e9hend\u00e9 son cahier des charges : \u00ab Pour moi, la couleur est primordiale. Elle est source de joie et donne vie \u00e0 mes for\u00eats. \u00bb C\u2019est aussi \u00e0 la couleur qu\u2019elle attribue la cohabitation harmonieuse entre l\u2019h\u00e9ritage des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s Vestige et la contemporan\u00e9it\u00e9 de son travail, dont l\u2019\u00e9clat discret refl\u00e8te et met en valeur l\u2019histoire des b\u00e2timents.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les for\u00eats dominent mon travail. \u00c0 l\u2019aide de couches de papier, j\u2019\u00e9labore des formes sculpturales, des compositions a\u00e9riennes qui, je l\u2019esp\u00e8re, apportent \u00e0 celui qui les observe un fort sentiment de paix int\u00e9rieure. \u00bb Il est vrai que les \u0153uvres d\u2019Ana exsudent un calme qui ne manquera pas de convaincre quiconque les contemple qu\u2019il est bel et bien en vacances.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gance intemporelle de son esth\u00e9tique compl\u00e8te \u00e0 merveille le style d\u00e9licat et raffin\u00e9 qui caract\u00e9rise chaque propri\u00e9t\u00e9 Vestige. \u00ab J\u2019ai ador\u00e9 collaborer avec Vestige Collection \u00bb, nous confie Ana, \u00ab ce sont de vrais professionnels, qui travaillent sur des projets culturels de la plus haute importance. Leur cadre de travail pr\u00e9cis, mais non d\u00e9nu\u00e9 de libert\u00e9, m\u2019a permis de cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres qui agr\u00e9mentent subtilement l\u2019exp\u00e9rience des visiteurs. Je suis honor\u00e9e de faire aujourd\u2019hui partie de leur histoire. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\"Colecci\u00f3n<\/p>\n

L\u2019histoire d\u2019Ana<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ana est n\u00e9e \u00e0 Barcelone, et l\u2019influence de sa ville natale sur son travail laisse peu de doute quant \u00e0 la source d\u2019inspiration qu\u2019elle repr\u00e9sente encore aujourd\u2019hui pour l\u2019artiste. Tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t, Ana tombe sous le charme du papier et r\u00e9alise des compositions et des collages bigarr\u00e9s \u00e0 l’aide de mat\u00e9riaux divers et vari\u00e9s. Elle part d\u00e8s lors \u00e9tudier l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie papeti\u00e8re au Royaume-Uni, puis passe les vingt ann\u00e9es suivantes \u00e0 Paris, \u00e0 travailler dans la haute couture et la d\u00e9coration d\u2019int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n

De retour en Espagne, elle se lance dans la confection de cartons d\u2019invitation, avant de se consacrer \u00e0 son travail sur papier. Influenc\u00e9e par l\u2019orientalisme, les couleurs et les formes de ses \u0153uvres ne cessent d\u2019\u00e9voluer, tandis qu\u2019elle m\u00e9dite sur la caract\u00e8re universel de la condition humaine et explore nos circonvolutions face aux \u00e9preuves de l\u2019existence. De son propre aveu, c\u2019est \u00e0 ses for\u00eats inspir\u00e9es par les cerisiers en fleur qu\u2019elle doit l\u2019essor de sa carri\u00e8re d\u2019artiste du papier<\/p>\n

Le travail d\u2019Ana est aujourd\u2019hui expos\u00e9 dans le monde entier et a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 la collection Josep Maria Civit, ainsi que d\u2019autres collections priv\u00e9es de renom \u00e0 Paris, Madrid, Barcelone, New York et au Sri Lanka. Depuis que commande lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pass\u00e9e de dix-huit \u0153uvres pour le Mandarin Oriental de Barcelone par Patricia Urquiola, fondatrice du studio homonyme d\u2019architecture et de design, elle a de surcro\u00eet d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 son activit\u00e9 de commissariat \u00e0 destination de l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie de luxe.<\/p>\n
